in a big, 8-inch-diameter, 2-3/4-inch-deep basket. An adjustable thermostat
calibrated in both Fahrenheit and Celsius provides precise temperature
selection, and a temperature guide for various foods is printed on the fryers
exterior. Safety features abound: the lid locks, the basket can be lowered and
raised remotely with a locking handle while the lid remains closed, a
splatter-free window permits monitoring of the cooking process without opening
the lid, the plastic exterior remains cool during operation, and the fryer
automatically shuts off with a timer that can be set up to 30 minutes.
